Social and community development projects to support Thailand's sports, health, and arts practitioners towards world-class performance

Promote equestrian and polo in Thailand

For the past 21 years, B.Grimm has played a key role in promoting equestrian and polo sports in Thailand, with the aim of raising public awareness, enhancing the standards of equestrian sport to be on par with international levels, and increasing accessibility for Thai participants. The company also organises charity polo tournaments on an annual basis. Key projects in 2024 are as follows:

  • Thai Polo Open Tournament, competing for the trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, with the proceeds going to the Technological College for Chitralada Technology Institute to support student scholarships.
  • Queen's Cup Pink Polo Tournament, held to raise funds for breast cancer projects, the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer at Chulalongkorn Hospital, under the Thai Red Cross Society to assist breast cancer patients.
  • Beach Polo Tournament, with the donation given to "Nabha Foundation" under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, to promote opportunities and create jobs for prisoners when they return to society.

In 2024, reinforcing our commitment to developing Thai equestrians on the global stage, B.Grimm Power sponsored the Princess’s Cup 2024 in South Korea for the first time, in collaboration with the Korean Equestrian Federation. The event aimed to foster cultural and diplomatic ties between Thailand and South Korea and was held at the Dream Park Equestrian Venue in Incheon. Thailand was represented by 12 youth equestrians, while South Korea fielded professional riders to compete for the Princess’s Cup 2024. The competition was attended by members of the Incheon Provincial Assembly, reflecting the growing significance of equestrian sports both locally and internationally. As the main sponsor, B.Grimm Power also played a vital role in restoring the equestrian venue to international standards after it had remained unused since the 17th Asian Games in 2014.

Additionally, Dr. Harald Link, Group President of B.Grimm Power, was honored with the Prestigious Award for Outstanding Sports Contribution by the Korean Equestrian Federation, the Korean National Olympic Committee, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Toursim of South Korea . Sponsorship of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO)

We believe that classical music promotes cultural values that enhance the mental well-being of the whole nation. Our support allows Thai classical music players to have an opportunity to demonstrate their talent and garner international recognition for Thailand.

For the past 19 years, B.Grimm Power has sponsored the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation (RBSO), under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari. Our goal has been to enable Thai classical musicians to be as good as any world-class musician, pursue a stable career in this, and take care of their families. We have also helped RBSO hold its own with leading orchestras in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.

In addition, our sponsorship has enabled RBSO to act as a cultural ambassador with the highest number of overseas concerts among all Thai orchestras. RBSO has so far performed in South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Austria. It has had many opportunities to perform in Japan and has always been welcomed by the audience. Furthermore, we recognise the importance of community engagement and have promoted classical music education and access by organising garden concerts free of charge, presenting popular tunes from Thailand and overseas, including movie soundtracks and classical music.

In 2024, we continue our commitment to promoting arts, culture, and classical music to enhance societal well-being and support cultural exchange through key projects in Thailand and abroad. As a main sponsor, we support the following major events:

  • Lumpini Waltz Festival 2024:

Celebrating the handover of the B.Grimm Pavilion at Lumpini Park to Bangkok Metropolitan Administration after a comprehensive renovation of the 60-year-old performance hall.
