Social and community development projects to support Thailand's sports, health, and arts practitioners towards world-class performance

Promote equestrian and polo in Thailand

For the past 20 years, B.Grimm Power has supported the development of equestrian sport in Thailand. We aim to provide the opportunity for Thais to participate in equestrian sport domestically and internationally. Additionally, they organise polo sports competitions for charity, mobilise funds to support various schools and foundations, providing educational scholarships for students at Chitralada School (Vocational Track) to develop their careers. Moreover, they assist breast cancer patients through the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation, and regularly create opportunities for ex-convicts to reintegrate into society by providing them with continuous employment prospects every year.

  • Thai Polo Open Tournament, competing for the trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, with the proceeds going to the Technological College for Chitralada Technology Institute to support student scholarships.
  • Queen's Cup Pink Polo Tournament, held to raise funds for breast cancer projects, the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer at Chulalongkorn Hospital, under the Thai Red Cross Society to assist breast cancer patients.
  • Beach Polo Tournament, with the donation given to "Nabha Foundation" under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, to promote opportunities and create jobs for prisoners when they return to society.

B.Grimm has long been providing extensive support for equestrian sports through sponsorship via the Thai Equestrian Association in every dimension. The objective is to elevate Thailand's equestrian sports to an international level. Most recently, the association has led the Thai Equestrian Sports Association to its highest point in Southeast Asia and gained global recognition. Thailand stands out as the sole country in Southeast Asia that has successfully led its team to the Olympic Games. In 2019, it ranked among the top 25 in the World Equestrian Games. The association has also achieved success in organising the inaugural FEI Asian Championships in Thailand, featuring a world-class venue, making it the only equestrian Olympic qualifier in Asia. The Thai national team won the most medals, including the first gold in its debut. In the 19th Asian Games, held in 2023, Thai equestrian athletes made headlines by winning one silver medal in individual eventing and one bronze medal in team eventing. Thailand gained trust from the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), which entrusted the country to host the "FEI SEA Youth Cup 2023" for the first time. This event aims to promote the continuity of youth equestrian competitions in the Southeast Asian region.

Sponsorship of the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO)

We believe that classical music promotes cultural values that enhance the mental well-being of the whole nation. Our support allows Thai classical music players to have an opportunity to demonstrate their talent and garner international recognition for Thailand.

For the past 18 years, B.Grimm Power has sponsored the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra Foundation (RBSO), under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari. Our goal has been to enable Thai classical musicians to be as good as any world-class musician, pursue a stable career in this, and take care of their families. We have also helped RBSO hold its own with leading orchestras in Southeast Asia and the rest of the world.

In addition, our sponsorship has enabled RBSO to act as a cultural ambassador with the highest number of overseas concerts among all Thai orchestras. RBSO has so far performed in South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Austria. It has had many opportunities to perform in Japan and has always been welcomed by the audience. Furthermore, we recognise the importance of community engagement and have promoted classical music education and access by organising garden concerts free of charge, presenting popular tunes from Thailand and overseas, including movie soundtracks and classical music.

In 2023, we supported the "RBSO European Tour 2023" concert series at Musikverein in Vienna, Herkulessaal in Munich, and La Seine Musicale in Paris. Additionally, our foundation established the Bangkok Symphony Music School (BSS) to promote and disseminate classical music education internationally. Since its inception, over 1,510 students have enrolled, and many young talents have successfully pursued higher education both domestically and internationally, eventually becoming professional musicians.

The Princess Mother’s 90th Birthday Scholarships

The Princess Mother’s Charity Fund Foundation was established in 1980. Under her Royal Patronage, this foundation grants the ‘Princess Mother’s 90th Birthday Scholarships’ to nursing students of the Boromarajonai College of Nursing of Praboromarajchanok Institute under the Ministry of Health. They have enabled nursing students to pursue their career aspirations, promote professional dignity, foster knowledge exchanges and create solidarity.

Since its inception about 33 years ago until 2023, the foundation has awarded 8,994 scholarships, and a total of 2,914 students have graduated. Moreover, B.Grimm Power, with an understanding that science and technology play an important role in elevating the quality of life and education, has donated computers and medical simulators, such as a birthing simulator, a CPR doll, and a suture practice arm, for nursing students. Simultaneously, the Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, in collaboration with B.Grimm, has organised the "The Princess Mother Journey" camp for third-year nursing students at the Boromarajonani College of Nursing who have received scholarships before completing their fourth year of study.
