As B.Grimm Power’s home base, Thailand is central to our energy journey. We operate a robust portfolio of industrial and renewable energy power plants which deliver high quality electricity to industrial users, that supports the national economic growth and emissions reduction targets. Together with our partners, we are expanding our renewable energy portfolio to all over the world.
Asia is undergoing a major shift toward renewable energy, with strong government policies and rising industrial demand creating opportunities for clean energy investment. Many countries in the region are focusing on clean energy to support economic growth, reduce emissions, and ensure long-term energy security. This setting aligns with B.Grimm Power’s strategy to supply sustainable and efficient electricity to customers, creating shared value for society. By partnering with local stakeholders, we are expanding our footprint across key Asian markets, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Japan.
Australia is rapidly emerging as a renewable energy leader, driven by national targets to reach 82% clean energy by 2030 and a growing industrial need for low-carbon electricity. Government incentives have created a robust market for solar, wind, and storage solutions, generating great demand for reliable green energy to meet both cost efficiency and sustainability goals. In Australia, we support the national net-zero agenda through solar and wind investments. In 2023, B.Grimm Power acquired Nemaroo Bimbi Wind Farm Pty. Ltd., aiming to develop large-scale renewable energy hub in North Queensland. Read more
North America presents strong potential for renewable energy development, driven by industrial users seeking clean and affordable electricity. In 2024, B.Grimm Power entered the U.S. market by acquiring the 30 MW Malacha hydro project in northern California, supporting California’s goal of 100% clean electricity by 2045. As demand grows across the region, we continue to see more opportunities.
Europe is at the forefront of global energy transition, supported by ambitious net-zero targets, strong policy frameworks, and widespread industrial decarbonisation. Businesses across the continent are investing in renewable energy to enhance energy resilience and align with EU climate goals. B.Grimm Power is expanding in Italy with a target of 1,000 MW of solar and wind capacity and 1,000 MWh of battery storage by 2030. In Greece, we are advancing our solar, wind, and storage projects to support the country’s growing demand for clean electricity.
The Middle East is investing in renewable energy as part of national strategies to diversify economies and transition toward sustainable energy sources. The growth of solar and wind projects is accelerating, backed by long-term planning and growing industrial zones. We are currently operating in the Middle East with renewable energy projects in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In the UAE, where the national target is 44% renewable grid penetration, our partnership marks our entry into the commercial and industrial solar sector, with plans to grow over 300 MW in five years and expand into utility-scale solar and energy storage.
