B.Grimm Power expand the clean energy portfolio in the United States with a 25% investment in Brookfield NERH Aggregator’s hydropower portfolio, which comprises 26 hydropower plants with a total capacity of 406 megawatts, supported by an 8-megawatt battery energy storage system. The projects are located across 25 sites in Maine (403 MW) and 1 site in New Hampshire (3 MW).

This investment significantly strengthens B.Grimm Power by tapping into the strong potential of the U.S. liberalised electricity market, where power prices are driven by market mechanisms. At the same time, hydropower offers clean, flexible, and dispatchable generation, allowing electricity to be sold immediately during periods of high prices. With asset lifespans of over 100 years, these projects provide stable, long-term cash flows, while supporting geographic diversification and enhancing long-term growth stability.
