B.Grimm Power expands its renewable energy portfolio in the region with the commercial operation of ARECO, a 65-megawatt solar power plant on Negros Island, the Philippines. The project has begun delivering all generated electricity to the country’s Wholesale Electricity Spot Market and will start a 20-year power supply agreement under the Green Energy Auction – 4, the renewable energy procurement programme initiated by the Philippine Department of Energy, on 15 January 2026, with ARECO being among the first power plant projects authorised to supply electricity under this scheme.
